Mhairi Morrison is a classically trained actress having attained her BA in Theater from The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, in Glasgow, Scotland before studying movement and mime at Jacques Le Coq, Paris. Following her training she formed a theater company, performing as a clown throughout France. Moving to London she began working in theater, film and TV. Feature film credits include Young Adam (directed by David Mackenzie and starring Ewan McGregor, Tilda Swinton and Emily Mortimer), Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself, O, Jerusalem (with Ian Holm) and Green Street Hooligans (directed by Lexi Alexander and starring Elijah Wood). TV credits include Murphy’s Law, Casualty (both BBC) Missing (ITV) and Emo (Channel 4). Theater credits include Blues for Mister Charlie (Tricycle Theater, London) Faeries (Royal Opera House, London) and Low Life (Blind Summit, UK and International tour) She created and starred in two seasons of award-winning web series ‘Feathers and Toast’ and performs daily mimes which she produces and distributes online as the series ‘One Mime at a Time’.  She works extensively in voice over and is an award winning audio book narrator, having won an Audio File Earphones Award for her narration of Amanda Scott’s The Reluctant Highlander. She has worked as a freelance audio describer since 2005 having written and narrated audio description scripts for hundreds of hours of television and feature films. Recent AD writing credits include Away, Ratched and Devil All The Time (all for Netflix) She is a passionate human rights activist and co-founded the Los Angeles chapter of Amnesty International.
