Tansy is a professional actress, voice-over artist, musician and host with over 20 years of experience in front of the camera, mic and live audiences. After recording podcasts for the blind for three years, she found her way into the audio description world over ten years ago, starting at WGBH and branching out in Los Angeles. And with Covid restrictions, AD production transferred to her home studio. It has brought her a deep sense of satisfaction to continue to serve the blind community by describing the “visuals” on hundreds of movie titles and Episodes, especially during these exceptional times when people need some good distractions.
In addition to performing, Tansy loves going to the movies and the theater. She has traveled extensively in the past, Europe and tropical climates being her favorites. In her free time she enjoys playing guitar, painting, visiting with friends, teaching Pilates and Yoga, attending events, parties, concerts and art openings, being in the great outdoors, and drinking hazelnut lattes….yum!!!
