Christine Lowe is an audio describer and voice artist who has combined her background in engineering with her mission for making digital media engaging, accurate, and accessible. When she’s not writing and narrating audio description for digital and still media or recording voiceovers for educational programs, children’s audiobooks, commercials, and phone systems, she works as a professional water resources engineer and floodplain manager for a local government in Maryland where her work is dedicated to improving local water quality and flood resiliency and restoring the Chesapeake Bay. Christine finds her varied career interests revolve around the power of knowledge and equal access to information, and she believes that equipping people with the right resources can help create more informed and inclusive communities.
